From planning and catering to coordinating every aspect seamlessly, we thrive on making every occasion memorable.
Our WHY? It's simple: our seven beautiful children inspire us to give our all in everything we do. With Sam hailing from sunny Southern California and Katy proudly representing her roots in New Jersey, our diverse backgrounds complement each other perfectly.
Sam's upbringing in a family deeply entrenched in catering, specifically with his mother's family, the Startups, laid the foundation for our venture. We proudly established Startups Social Catering & Events in New Jersey and New York, with the intention of bringing our family's rich legacy to the vibrant East Coast scene.
The Startups legacy traces back to the early 1960s in Los Angeles, pioneered by Sam's grandfather, Elbert Startup. We embrace old-fashioned techniques in all our endeavors, ensuring that every detail reflects our family's cherished traditions and heritage.
